| Investment in joint ventures is provided by Treelot Company Pty Ltd, a business operated by John Woodley and Paul Montgomery, specifically for forestry investment.
Treelot's first project, a plantation of 30 hectares of Eucalyptus globulus (King Island seed) and five hectares of eucalypt hybrids (E. camaldulensis x E. grandis) was established in 2007 on land at Terip Terip, Victoria. This joint venture between investors and the Treelot Company will produce high quality clearwood saw logs and veneer logs. The silviculture management will include thinning for pulpwood and biofuel during the crop cycle. Treelot Company intends to establish a plantation each year on a joint venture basis. A range of investor options is available with investment packages from $50,000 upwards. Treelot Company makes investor participation simple, and insures and secures the investor's interests in the plantation through a Forestry Rights Agreement.
